Pet Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a delicate, non-invasive technique originating from ancient China.

What is Pet Acupuncture?

It is an effective treatment method for pets dealing with health issues, including chronic conditions like arthritis.

This age-old holistic healing practice, akin to reiki, has proven its efficacy over the centuries. It promotes healing and energy balance by inserting thin, sterile needles into designated acupuncture points on the body to stimulate the immune system.

Acupuncture can benefit many common canine and feline conditions, relieving pain and stimulating healing. Most animals find acupuncture relaxing and may even fall asleep!

Acupuncture can help alleviate several conditions, such as:

How will my pet respond to veterinary acupuncture?

Most pets adapt quickly to acupuncture. Even if a few may initially resist the needles, many grow accustomed with time. The needles used are extremely fine, causeing minimal if any, discomfort. Many pets even relax and rest during the procedure.

Each treatment is calming, balancing, and customized to the individual pet. The number of sessions needed depends on the condition being treated and the pet’s response. Some pets may require three to eight initial treatments, while others might benefit from a session every three to four weeks. Typically, each session lasts around 30 minutes.
